Floor Screeding and Tiling Installation

Ceramic Solutions were appointed to prepare and tile the floor for the new New Balance retail unit at The Trafford Centre in Manchester.

With a tight deadline of just four days to complete the work, we knew we had to hit the ground running. Our team arrived on site ready to tackle the challenge head-on, ensuring the new store would be ready for its grand opening.

Our team began by levelling and screeding the floor to create a smooth, solid base ready for tiling. Once cured, we installed large-format porcelain tiles throughout the entire store — providing a durable, high-end finish suited to the high footfall of a major retail environment.

The project was completed in just four days, working around multiple contractors including electricians, shopfront installers and builders. The result is a sleek, hard-wearing floor that looks fantastic and performs just as well — ready for opening day and thousands of steps to come.

The floor in the lounge was out of level, uneven and had a slope running down one side!
